Connectivity
A small number of customers may have experienced difficulties accessing our systems between 03.49 and 06.12 this morning. At this time we can confirm it to be an isolated connectivity issue. Connectivity to all destinations is now stable.
Update from out upstream provider:
One of the data centre core routers which interconnects to the wide area footprint began to exhibit packet loss. Initially this loss appears to be limited to specific destinations, and the majority of traffic was unaffected. The fault began to affect more traffic as time passed and the duty engineer travelled to site to comprehensively review the fault. After a short discussion with the
equipment vendor, a solution was developed, implemented and the device
was re-loaded. Traffic immediately returned to normal.
